Putting the big ass pic of the No Limit tank made me think of something...where the hell is Silkk the Shocker??...the rapper who wanted to rap the fastest on the slowest song...C-Murder was always my favorite of the Tru trio...Master P was just the hypeman who was crowned leader...but I can't pumpfake...No Limit was the shit back in the day...Mia X...Fiend...Mac...Mr. Serve-On...Mystikal...Magic...just to name a few...they were putting on for New Orleans...I use to listen to "Bout It Bout It" along with a few other tracks everyday...until Cash Money just came thru and pissed on them...everybody just forgot about No Limit...it was all about Hot Boys and Hot Girls...but enough about that...where the hell is Shockerman??!!...the last song I remember from him is "That's Cool" with Trina...that's a DAMN SHAME...brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr ha stick it...ha ha ha stick it...lol...that hurt just saying that...although I did enjoy Charge It 2 Da Game ............................*take that classic cover in*................................................................................................

Just a kid then...all of my friends were into rap...2 Pac and all that good shit...ME...I did the rap...but I was also dipping my feet into the pool of rock...the water seemed fine...I jumped right in...I mean what would you expect...listening to the hard rock of Guns and Roses since a toddler...evey morning I would listen to the rock station on the way to school...I think it was 96.3 FM back then...nobody knew about it...I kept it to myself fearing that my little friends would not accept my acceptance of another culture and genre......................anywho...one day I heard a song..."Bullet With Butterfly Wings"...my little mind thought...wow this is nice...the DJ then announced that the band was called The Smashing Pumpkins...storing it in the brain...I made my way to the music store...can't remember which one it was...I think it was Best Buy...but being to young I had my granny ask the worker for the newest Smashing Pumpkin's cd...it so happened that a classic two disc came out that day...it was called MELLON COLLIE AND THE INFINITE SADNESS...spending 20 bones of my hard owned chore money...instantly I became a fan..and its been that way ever since...............

This album has to be the reason I fell in love with guitars and with the whole rock genre itself...even though I've heard many rock songs before...this caught my attention like none other...it's 2 cds...14 songs a piece...so hell naw I wasn't writing the track listing ...but I will give you my absolute favs on the album..."Mellon Collie and The Infintie Sadness"..."Tonight Tonight"..."Bullet With Butterfly Wings"..."Porcelina of the Vast Oceans"..."Take Me Down"..."Where The Boys Fear To Tread"..."In The Arms of Sleep"..."Beautiful"..."By Starlight"...and "Farwell and Goodnight"...I mean the whole album is just a masterpiece...rock...hard rock...heavy metal...speed metal...alternative...I listen to some of it all...and I have this masterpiece to thank...by opening my mind and tearing away at those restraints...oh yea...check out The Smashing Pumpkins album Siamese Dream also...another good one.........................ROCK AND ROLL!!
